Musicovery! Google Gears! Remember the Milk! Dr. Pepper! Oh My!

There are some really cool gadgets/sites out on the web today. Some make your life a lot easier and less-hectic, some are just fun, some are good for business. Here’s my take on a few sites I’ve enjoyed recently -

Musicovery.com - This site is amazing. Pick your mood and start drilling down. It’s like tagging or cloud computing for discovering new and interesting music. I found this link off Bob Pritchett’s blog (CEO of Logos.com).

Google Gears - Google Docs fan? Want to use it offline when you don’t have access to the ‘net? Before Gears you couldn’t do anything about that. With Gears it all changes. Edit and manage your documents offline and then when you get a ‘net connection again it syncs your info back up to Google Docs. Very cool. A definite must for the power Docs user that travels without ‘net connections. Here’s a CRN article about it as well.

Remember the Milk - Ha! Love the site name because it’s so true. You go out to pick something up and it seems that milk (or bread or eggs) is always the item that gets missed. Well, take heart oh forgetful one! With Remember the Milk tied into your Gmail, Twitter, and SMS you can now take your to-do list everywhere you go. I haven’t tried it out yet but the concept looks pretty slick. If you are a user let me know what you think of it.

Dr. Pepper - Ah, my favorite soda/pop/cola/carbonated beverage. It’s perfect. Need I say more?
