Holiday Weekends Mess Me Up!
I had a great Memorial Day weekend. I hope you did as well. The weather was perfect and it was nice to relax and do nothing (except play Mario Kart Wii and some fun board games).
So I come into work yesterday thinking it was Monday. And that causes problems. I’m talking with people thinking it was Monday. Then to top it off I go to meet a candidate for an interview and realized it was the wrong day. Needless to say my candidate was a little shocked (since his interview isn’t until today) and I wasted about an hour driving around and calling people to make sure it was yesterday. Talk about feeling dumb.
At least I was able to get a nice Lemon-Berry Slush at Sonic. 
That made it worthwhile…well, kinda.
That what happens when you have a long holiday weekend and you come in with your mind set on something else.
I’m on the right track today though. I know it’s Wednesday and only a few more days left in this week. Time to get on the ball!
