Headhunter Diaries ~ Yay For Fridays!
Another week down and it was quite an enjoyable week. No placements yet. 
But that’s ok. Got another candidate submitted to a client for a potential interview and hopefully they’ll get called next week. Also found 2 candidates for a Sr. Systems Administration position that I’m trying to fill. What’s kind of funny is that I’ve been able to find a ton of these types of candidates on the market, but only a couple willing to relocate (and one lives in SC already).
One fun thing we did this week was head downtown Greenville to the Overlook Cafe and have a team meeting. It was awesome. Sat around enjoying the beautiful spring weather and the view of the Reedy River and talked about our 1st quarter of this year. It was good to see how we as a division (technology) was doing and what our goals are for the 2nd quarter of this year. As the magic 8 ball says - Outlook Good. 
Every time someone makes a placement an email is sent out to the company congratulating them and announcing the fee for the placement. This month one of the Accounting recruiters has placed 3 people so far! Niiice. So far he gets to drive the Z4 all next month. Not bad eh? 
Of course that could change since we still have almost 2 weeks to go in this month still.
I’ve been enjoying growing my LinkedIn network (mental note: add my profile info to the blog) and reading a couple good articles on ERE.net. Every week I’m learning more and more and I can just taste my first placement coming up soon! Weee!
