Headhunter Diaries - The Name
Welcome to the long awaited post on the life of a new IT Recruiter. Today I get to let everyone know the name of the company that I will be working for. You can read my first post here.
*Drumroll please*
That company name is FGP Technology. They were ranked #228 on the Inc. 500 in 2006 and #478 in 2007. On top of that they were ranked #1 in 2006 and #2 in 2007 as the best place to work at in South Carolina. Those are some pretty nice accomplishments.
After spending some time interviewing with them and getting to know my future coworkers I can see why they’ve done so well. The culture is great, the way they train and work with their employees is excellent as well. I’m excited to be able to join the team and make a difference.
So what does that mean for me now? Well, no more job hunting for one. Now I can help companies Find Great People (namely in IT) and hopefully place them. I’ll be doing my best to keep my Headhunter Diaries going here and letting people know what it’s like on the inside of the industry.
