Headhunter Diaries ~ Horn Honking! Woot!
Well, I haven’t made my 1st placement yet, but one of my co-workers placed someone yesterday. It was a nice break from a drought he had been having for a few months. Things are looking hot too as he might be honking the horn a few more times within the next week. Go John!
I have a candidate in the queue that hopefully will get an in-house interview with a client sometime next week. After that hopefully a job offer and then I can honk the horn!
(The horn honking is homage to the toot your own horn. When a recruiter places someone they get to honk the horn and everyone gathers around to shake hands and congratulate the individual and spread the good cheer. It’s actually very cool and great for motivation.)
