Firefox 3 Beta 3.

Sorry about missing a post yesterday. My wife flew up to Pennsylvania to help out her mom with some medical issues and so I’ve been running around the house all day trying to clean up, and do some errands.

In the midst of all that I decided to rebuild my laptop and clean up some old work stuff on it. While re-adding all my necessary tools I decided to try out Firefox 3 Beta 3. I’ve always been a big Firefox fan. It’ s a great browser, full standards compliant, tabs, etc. Well, Firefox 3 is even better. Lots of bug fixes, the memory leaks seem to be reduced dramatically, it loads up even faster than Firefox 2 too!

I’ve been able to re-import my local bookmarks as well as my password file thanks to the wonderful Firefox Password Exporter Add-on. Now all I need to do is add my Google Notebook Add-On and Greasemonkey and I’ll be all set.

So if you are still using Internet Explorer and are looking for a change, give Firefox a try. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

  1. curious to know your thoughts about the flock browser. it is great for organizing all social networking accounts.

  2. It looks interesting. I’m not a huge social network person so it doesn’t appeal to me a lot (FB is all I’m on besides Plaxo and LinkedIn). Might have to do a review on it though :)
